PMA were appointed to reconfigure the existing museum which had recently relocated to the Grade II Listed Rockefeller Building on University Street. As part of the University's aspirations to make their world class collections more accessible to the public, the project involved the refurbishment of the museum entrance (tying in with our earlier interventions within the building), the creation of a new reception area and the rationalisation of the administrative support areas. We also worked with the University's exhibition designers to facilitate a new Micrarium - a place for Tiny Things displaying over 1000 exhibits in a visually striking mirrored installation.
