Following part of the University’s Summer programme of works in 2012, we reconfigured an existing teaching laboratory to create a new student common room for a new, high profile undergraduate course.

Building on our experience of four earlier common room projects, our design provided a range of individual, group and collaborative study and social areas to allow students to relax and interact.  The design features a new slatted oak ceiling, purpose designed joinery and an interactive/media wall incorporating write-on glass and large computer screen.
