Mario joined Paul Murphy Architects from its inception in 2007; prior to this he worked alongside Paul at Todd Architects for 8 years. Mario was originally educated in Rome and has been working in England since 1986.
With over 30 years UK experience, Mario has designed and delivered a broad range of projects throughout the UK and covers residential, education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
Prior to joining PMA, Mario worked at Newman Levinson on commercial and sports facilities, including the redevelopment of Chelsea Football stadium; At the London Borough of Southwark’s Building Design Service, Mario worked on a number of school projects before moving to Chapman Taylor, where he worked on large scale retail developments.
Mario an Associate Technical Director responsible for overseeing the design, development and coordination of production information, the day to day running of jobs, coordination and integration of CAD systems.
Mario has been responsible for delivering a multitude of education projects at primary and university level, including projects at UCL and Royal Holloway University of London; in addition, notable projects have included the Radiotherapy Suite and Private Patients Unit at Basingstoke Hospital and the Working Men’s college in Camden.
In his spare time, Mario enjoys cooking and long walks.
