Chertsey House provides around 23,000sqft of new Trust accommodation for a diverse mix of administration and support functions, including IT, finance, quality control and occupational health. The new building forms part of our masterplan for the site, which included the removal of “temporary” buildings dating to the Second World War in which many of the departments were previously housed.
The project was divided into a traditionally procured enabling works package and a modular design and build project for the superstructure. Timber cladding is arranged in vertical and horizontal bands to the upper storey, with an array of horizontal louvres denoting the entrance.
We were also responsible for the internal space planning and procurement of desking.
