The project involved the reconfiguration of two separate spaces within Foster Court and the Henry Morley building to create new collaborative teaching and learning spaces for students.

At Foster Court,  new ‘petal shaped’ desking is placed around existing cast iron columns to create group study desks within a large open plan teaching space. Separate bookable rooms are clad with multi-coloured panels to be read as a new intervention within the space. New floating ceilings conceal new services and contrast with the retained exposed wrought iron beams.

Within the Henry Morley building, the ground floor was similarly reconfigured to create a flexible open plan work area with a more discrete collaborative workspace set behind an oak screen.
