Completed 1994

Following receipt of an outline planning application, we were appointed by Kingston University to develop a masterplan for their Kingston Hill site, which permitted a phased implementation programme.

The 40 acre site incorporates 17 acres of protected woodland and falls by 15m from north to south. Within the body of the campus a number of listed structures, buildings of architectural interest and landscape features were to be retained.

We carried out a detailed analysis of the site to ensure existing features could be enhanced, followed by a primary design of each of the new component buildings leading to the identification of a clear phasing and development strategy.
